Jay Gala is an independent researcher working on Neural Architecture Search with Prof. Pengtao Xie from the University of California. His research interests include, but are not limited to Language and Vision Intersection, Commonsense Reasoning, and Meta-Learning, drawing inspiration from human learning. Previously, he has worked as an intern on topic modeling for customer feedback analysis at Tata Consultancy Services. In addition, he has also worked with dialogue systems, object detection, and anomaly detection during his undergraduate. He also spent some time voluntarily mentoring students at Unicode.
